2nd Book

Grey Colson

By the first of next year (2012), I plan on starting the second Grey Colson book. There were a series of killings between Orlando and Daytona a few years ago and I need a title for the book. I thought about the "Corridor Killer" since the news talked about the killings being in the "corridor" between Oralndo and Daytona. I think it can be more creative. Any ideas?

Poor Grey Colson, by the time the 3rd book rolls around I shall pray that he can leave the state of Florida and have an uplifting experience. Maybe Grey needs to go to Paris and find love. :love

;D

Oh, tell the truth. Your really Jessica Fletcher in disguise, and you moved to Florida.

I do think Grey needs to go to WPB, and get a Russo's sub.

Interesting you should mention his location. I've wondered about that. Most stories have the main character going to exotic places. When I first found out that Lee Child is British, but writes about Jack Reacher's adventures in America, I thought "I guess America is his exotic and unknown location".

I don't know for certain yet, but I'm thinking Grey will venture out at some point. Of course that means I'll have to research areas that I've never been. There's a bunch of them out there. :'(

How about "The Panhandler" :laugh :laugh sorry I couldn't resist..lol :slappy

Hey, that's not bad. It's not exactly in the panhandle, but the name needs a hook...something catchy and not mundane. Something like Mile Marker #48 (or something between the two towns) referring to the roads or something. Mile Marker Murderer sounds a little too...cutesy.

The East I-4 Annihilator.

Murder Between Mile Markers.

Resort to Murder. (Get it? Resorty places? :D)

Death Among The Gnats. :D :D :D (Sorry, but hot, sweaty and gnatty don't do it for me. :D)

"The Sand Killer"
"The Beach Murderer"
"The Lotion Reaper"
"The Umbrella Killer"
"The Sun Strangler"

Hwy theme
"The I95 Killer"
"The Toll Murder"
"The redlight killer"

Ok Im done..I was being silly. Im sure we could come up with tons haha

Commission contract is in the mail. :D Actually, feel free to use anything and everything (or nothing) I post on here.

Whilst Grey Colson is still in Florida and looking for love, it could be:

Love bugs Are In The Air
(surely y'all have experienced love bugs in FL :BH )

Resort to Murder is a good name for a book. I am 99% sure I have read one by that title. :) I also remember reading one by the name of Mile Marker. I think that it was The Mile Marker Murders, not totally sure on the name.

Okay done being a stick in the mud. ;)

I laughed out loud at Kattie's Love bugs! Those things are deadly!! :laugh

Yep if you google resort to murder there is a book out by Glenys O'Connell :(

DRATZ! Well, so far my internet search has not revealed anyone with a book by the name of the current one. That's why I'm keeping it to myself for the time being. It's not too bad even if I say so myself. :Ninja

I reckon there ain't no law sayin's how two books can't have the same title. You name it what you want to and if somebody has a gripe about it, send 'em to me. Hrmph.

Thanks ;D Well, unless the person who wrote the previous book lives within 20 miles of me, I probably won't have a problem since Grey Colson's little story probably won't be read much further out than that. What are the odds? :laugh
