An 11-year-old Ohio girl was allegedly shot by her neighbor after he became upset with a group of children playing on the front yard of his home, Fox 8 reports.

Another situation where I don't excuse the actions of the perpetrator but ... why was there a group of young children playing around, and making the inevitable noise, and on someone else's property at that hour?

And then there's this:
...Ivhan`e's mother, Aquadea Merritt, said the bullet grazed her daughter's liver.

"Everything else is fine, she's doing fine, she's up walking, talking," Aquadea Merritt said, adding she is not angry about the shooting.

"I'm not mad or anything, I'm not upset. I'm hurt that she's in the hospital and she's injured. But otherwise that she's good, she's healthy, ain't nothing wrong. It could have been a main artery or anything, she could have been dead," Aquadea Merritt said...

Not mad? Not upset? Are you kidding me??!??! Sure, the kids shouldn't have been there and acting as they were but seriously? Not mad or upset about somebody shooting your kid over such a thing?
