You might want to watch this tonight

Rolling down the highway
I've not been very active lately because I don't want to get in to ugly discussions with some on here. There are bad things happening in Paulding County and have been for years. It doesn't matter what side of the airport issue you are on, wrong is wrong and I have learned more in the past 18 months than I ever wanted to know. Our county needs prayers for healing and unity, it is very fractured and there are some, in high places, that seem to be more concerned about "winning" than doing what's right. A bully is a bully is a bully. There are a few too many of them in our government.

Dale Russell FOX 5 A preview of our 10:00 report tonight coming up in a 10 minutes. A county administrator runs taxpayer funded background checks/ Who is he researching? And why? Depends on who you talk to.

Channel 5 news, tonight 3/11/15, 10:00

Thanks.
I have found out that you don't even have to have a side for things to happen.
Just have a voice and you can get threatened.
Of course, they do not have enough guts to do so to your face.

Nature girl and I may not agree on the airport issue, or we may, strangely enough that hasn't been decided :) but we haven't had to argue about it....yet. :)

And I doubt we ever will. I don't want 737s flying over our neighborhoods but it's okay with me if you think it's a good idea. Bottom line, we have corruption that rivals that in Chicago. Cronyism, nepotism, and out right, in your face, bullying.

And that is what disturbs me more than any other issue in Paulding. It happens out here, too, but doesn't seem to be near as pronounced.

Deewee, downtown Rockmart will be heavily effected with commercial air service. The way the runway is oriented, those 737s will be about 1500 feet over downtown Rockmart.

Here's the video of the news story. I've again requested the commissioners find the answers to who these background checks were done on.

I believe that folks have the right to seek redress of grievances
from their government without being targeted for intimidation.

That means the Goodyear Village, and several other heavily populated neighborhoods, will be right under that flight path, too.
