Where are you going? The girls and I were just talking about doing a white water girls weekend!I'm Floored said:I'm going white water rafting. (Pray for me!)
Somebody pick up everything in a size 6 for me, please!

I like Zappos too! Many times I can find the shoe I want for less than the store.mei lan said:ShoeDiva said:I would rather pay full price than deal with the shoe dept at Belk when they are having a sale! Last time I went there were shoes everywhere and people were so rude. :rant
Ditto!!! But I love online shoe-buying, anyway. Mother is an unusual fit (10N) and she just found two LOVELY pair of sandal/pump/whatevers on amazon. I like zappos and a few others as well. And then Mr. Fed Ex just brings them right to my door. Happy, happy!!!

I usually go to the Belk on 120 for one day sales - the shoe dept. is busy, but they're a lot more efficient than Town Center or Arbor Place.
Our daughter, who I think is close to the same age as yours, has gone through 5 pairs of flip flops since May...I refuse to buy her more expensive ones!Madea said:At 40% I'd be willing to make my first try, but I have to say I'm not thrilled with the ones I bought for my daughter.
A few weeks before school was out (when it was so hot) we were at the mall and she needed some flip flops. I bit the bullet and purchased her some Yellow Box with the hopes they would last all summer. We were having trouble with them before school was out. They've already been to the shoe repair once and need to go back. Ugh. For $20, she's still wearing them.

See, over the total summer (warm weather in general) we go through quite a few pairs. That's why I thought if I sprung for these we might get through the whole summer. The problem with them is more cosmetic than anything, but it's still annoying. Of course, I failed to take into account her fashion sense. )
