Wow... did you know? Early voting starts today! :cheer1

I will vote early ... but it sure snuck up on me. I think I am ready to vote... anyone who there is a question as to them being eligible will not get my vote, nor will an incumbent.

I want term limits...so I vote as if my vote counts to keep that goal.

I also vote early because I think there are a lot of lies that are cast (mud slinging) in the last days when there is no time to respond. If it were legitimate it would have come out last month. :dunno

Yea, I saw the sign out by the courthouse when I was coming back through Dallas. Can't believe it's that time already!! And school starts in 3 1/2 weeks!! Yikes!!

Oh no you di'ent! :rant :poke2

They only get a few weeks anyway... you can't tell them school is in 3 1/2 weeks, when they get only weeks.... not months like we had ... when summer actually WAS the SUMMER!!!!! :laugh :laugh :poke2

Okay...got that out of my system...carry on :taunt

I've never quite understood why so many people don't decide who they're voting for until the last minute. It's rare that I don't know long in advance, especially in high profile races such as POTUS.

So, people who are so uniformed should not vote? :whistle That's what I'm talking about! :thumbsup :cheer1 :dunno

I don't vote very very early but I do vote the last week before the election. I have found that some info may come out that would change my mind. Amazing the things that a candidate may have exposed at the last minute.

I'll vote early. Primarily because voting this time falls right in between Open House and First Day of School. :rant for another day. I'm gonna be kinda busy.

I do miss the days of standing in line to cast my vote, striking up conversations in line, and the excitement of exercising my vote. Now, I go early so that I can go ahead and perform the acid wash to get all the crap outta my brain. :BH

Oh, and FW, I don't think the "uniformed" should vote either. :laugh

I'll put it another way...I think that anyone who votes has a high responsibility to be informed. If they don't educate themselves, they are acting irresponsibly.

I don't do early voting - not only do I stand in line on election day, but I also bring the princess with me. I want her to grow up knowing just how much of a privilege it is.

I did the same when mine was wittle. And she got to wear the "I Voted" sticker.

Yep, a sticker is like a pot of gold to a 5 year old...

I take mine too. the last time I took them into the booth, the woman cautioned me that they could not actually push the buttons, they would have to void my vote if that happened.

Tell the woman that she's not allowed to watch you vote.

I was just being a pop off! :poke2 You know :taunt

Nothing worse than a person waiting to read about a Referendum in the voting booth!

I agree, too many things can happen at the last minute. From what I have read, there is a possibility of two people that are on the ballots could be disqualified.

Since I'm not voting for them - makes no nevermind to me! :whistle
