Whew...what a day

So I ended up not going to Blairsville today....the daughter made plans with friends which I am glad of. So I got up this morning and
Cleaned the kitchen, cleaned the living room, did 2 loads of laundry, then went outside cut the grass, did the edging, trimmed the shrubbery, raked all that up and dumped it, swept the driveway, cleaned the lawnmower and cleaned my ac unit. When I came in I thought I would collapse :faint. Had about an hour to rest then had to take son to his baseball party at the bowling lanes. Now I am ready to :faint in the bed.

How was everyone's Saturday

I was lazy!! Hubby has been out of town for the past few days and didn't get home until 1:30 a.m. this morning (we were asleep). He slept in and the princess came in for snuggle time this morning - we didn't get up until 9:30. Hubby had to go to the office for a few hours to finish paperwork and the princess and I spent most of the day playing "princess dress up party." She put on her dress up clothes and I stayed in my jammies. No make up, no trip to the mall, just a lazy day at home. Hubby even cooked dinner - threw some steaks and shrimp on the grill.

It was a great day!!

Busy Tappy!
I did absolutely nothing except polish my nails, nap and watch a movie.

Yep busy was an understatement. I would have much rather went and saw my baby girl but I was happy that friends invited her to hang with them today so it didn't bother me not to go. I wanted nothing more than to lay around and be lazy today but all that stuff I had been letting go so it HAD to be done.
I do however see a lazy Saturday in my future, pending I don't find a 2nd job ;D

Had a rough morning of watching my son's football team kick some North Paulding butt! :cheer1 (Okay, so it wasn't really a butt-kicking, but they won. LOL) But, hey, it was HOT out there! So, I was forced to have a nice lunch with some football friends.


Then we went by Home Depot to pick up Deewee's famous mop. Dang thing is STILL propped up by the fridge and hasn't cleaned the floor yet. I surely thought the floor would be clean since I got in a good 2 hour nap.


Talked to my Dad, and went to Ross to do some treasure hunting. Whew, what a day. :snick_bunny

 

[Guard Dad]

Did yard work, cleaned the pool, took out the trash, sprayed for weeds, added a part to my A/C pool heater system. Took a nice swim. Took "She who adores me out to Atlantic Station.

Ate fudgesicles.

Did you take the plastic wrapper off it? If not, how do you expect it to do anything if it's trapped in the plastic wrapper?


Mine is leaning against a wall as well and I haven't taken the wrapper off either. That's the only thing I can think of that's preventing it from doing anything. :laugh

I brought my weed wacker up to Jennifer's. I got up yesterday morning and after my morning three cups of coffee, I went out there and started using it. I got quite a bit done before it started pouring. She has some areas I wanted to spray Roundup on, but it needs to dry out first. I woke up this morning to find it raining. I think God didn't want me to work so hard this weekend.

That's what I want to say... But my kitchen is sparkling! BabyB went to bed, and BroB left, and MrB also went to bed. They wreaked havoc on my kitchen, and I had to clean it. Grrrrr.
