When will authorities in Portland get tough with rioters?

Another group of rioters marched downtown in Portland smashing the windows of businesses as they "protested" anti-illegal immigration. When they do this stuff, the police should do what we MPs did to the Cuban rioters at Ft. Chaffee. We'd all be in our riot gear in a double echelon wedge formation beating our batons on our shields. The point man at the tip of the wedge was a fireman with a 2.5 inch firehouse that ran to the fire truck right behind us. As we marched forward, the rioters were hit with water. It didn't just knock them down when they got hit; it sent them flying backwards. The riots were over 5 minutes after we started doing this. We didn't play any games when they rioted.

I would not be surprised to see the business owners there begin to back conservatives; they can only take so much.
