All throughout President Bush's two terms, the city council of Berkley, CA has passed several resolutions against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have truly lived up to their reputation of being the most liberal city in the country. I think some of you will find this news story amusing.

A Berkeley, Calif. resolution to roll out the welcome mat to freed Guantanamo Bay detainees was voted down in the last minutes of its City Council meeting Tuesday night.

The proposal was rejected by a 4-1 vote, with four council members abstaining.

Saw that. Yeah, it's an awesome idea, but...oh, wait...you mean they're gonna live like, next door?!?!? Uh...NO! dorks
