Just how old are you?
Old enough to know better and too old to care.
You were old enough to go to concerts in '69, is why I asked. I didn't think you were much older than me & I didn't go to my first concert til '82 or '83. It was a Loverboy concert...lol.
I was in High School in 1969.

He was a bus boy at the Last Supper

So, obviously Bob Seger is the best show I've been to. I have seen him EVERY time he has visited Atlanta since I was 15. I turned 48 today. He puts on a great show. No, fanfare, just great singing.

Bette Midler was fan freaking tastic! I was one of about 500 women at Philllips Arena. The rest were her gays. They were so awesome. She just does a great show and is funny as hell.

Elton John is also a favorite. I saw him years ago with my family. Me and the hubster were just dating at the time and we went with mama and my brother. He puts on a great show!! After the show we went to Shoneys near Verizon Theater in East Point. A chick picked up a pan cake, folded it in half, dunked it it the butter then the syrup then ate it. Repeat with the same pan cake. I didn't eat anything after that and wouldn't eat at a food bar for years after that.

Yeah, and those guys didn't tip worth a toot. "More Wine Mr. Jesus?" "No thanks I'll just use this water". More bread?" "No, this loaf will feed the multitudes". It's really hard to run up a decent bill that way.
