What\'s for Dinner Monday?

Yesterday I made a pot roast that cooked in the crock pot all day. It was yum!

So tonight is one of my favorite meals! Homemade veggie beef soup. It's the rest of the roast, all the crock juices (strained thru a cheesecloth), the rest of the carrots I didn't use yesterday, and a bunch of random veggies from the freezer. And some elbow noodles of course. We're having corn bread and grilled cheese for the hubs.

What are y'all having?
 
Son is sick and had Nyquil. Husband had a late lunch and just made a sandwich. I have no idea what I will have. I am considering a boca burger.

That sounds good. I really have to start being more innovative like that with leftovers.

We both had late lunches today too so we are having a gourmet dinner of Campbell's Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. :) Ummmmmm, ummmmmm good! :)
 
Yum!

I love veggie soup night, lol. Whatever is in the bin in the fridge and whatever has been opened in the freezer gets dumped in. I just had a bowl and I so full. And I have plenty leftover for lunch this week!

MrsB, your soup sounds delicious! Last night we had cheesesteak sandwiches, roasted potatoes and mac and cheese. BBG works late today, so I am cooking tonight...I think we will have cod fillets, rice and some veggies.
 
that sounded yummy! I didn't have dinner last night..was at the ball field freezing to death..lol

tonight we may or may not go to dinner..just depends on what is going on with the kiddos

You know it is Valentine's, right? :taunt Restaurants will be a zoo and the food not as good as it usually is because they are trying to get you in and out to seat the next person. :))

Yep I know, everywhere will be packed. We are going out to dinner with son's GF's parents so think we are gonna stay away from the popular places and maybe do mexican or something. I would much rather stay home!
