Basil

Yummmmm

I love basil too! I just was cutting some off my plant for some caprese salad.

I thought of you over Christmas. We had caprese salad presented on toothpicks at one of the parties we attended.

Well, two weeks ago it appeared to be a cough or a sneeze. But now I'm partial to freshly ground pepper.

If I have to choose one thing that I use on just about everything it would have to be:

Garlic
This.

It has to be something sweet for me to NOT use garlic.

I even use it on grits ... lol ... and they are GREAT!!!

For me: a menu.... :whistle

I am pretty positive I have not seen you eat a menu, but maybe I had a few martinis and did not really pay attention. :))

While I haven't eaten one, I definitely use it a lot than any spice... Lol

Yep, garlic. I go through a big bottle of garlic powder about once a month. Not to mention, it is good for your blood pressure and heart.

My cousin told me once, the doctor told her to use garlic salt on their food because her husband had high blood pressure. I told her the garlic salt is just salt with a garlic flavoring, and she needed to use garlic powder instead. She didn't believe me. A few years later her husband had a stroke and died. I can't help but wonder if the garlic salt contributed.

The cloves of garlic are too strong for me. I can't handle them, so I just use the powder.
