Well don't feel bad, my almost new Window's phone just got washed.

Rut roh.

So, thru the washing machine or outside?

Washing machine. Dried it in front of a fan all night and it actually started up this morning, but screen is streaked. I just left AT&T, had several upgrades available so got another one for $50.

Get one of them BIG protective covers.

That way, you won't loose it if it falls.

And it will make a big enough bulge that you won't leave it in a pocket.

A co-worker told me he got his phone wet once and it wouldn't work. A guy told him to put white rice in a tupperware bowl with the phone, put the lid on and let it set for 24 hours. He said he open the bowl after a day and the rice had swollen up because it pulled the moisture out. Pretty neat idea

Yep, it works. The old phone actually started up this morning, but the screen is streaked. I'm gonna try the rice trick anyway, might still be good for a spare.
