Thank you all so much. She listened to the video last night and she was horrified..lol She said mom take that down right now...that is horrible. I am way to sharp throughout the entire song. The sound was awful, it made me sound disgusting. I told her she could have sang the phone book and I would have still been proud :love

Us happy Mommies win out over our kids every day!!! :love

Thank you Cheezy! I am pretty proud of her! She is her own worst critic =) Love my girl!

Hey Cheezy...here is another one I think you will like. This is my daughter and one of her friends singing a song from a musical. This was at showcase at the high school. You can't really see them to well but you can hear them. My daughter is the one in the white shirt. I thought they sounded great together and they had fun singing it together. http://youtu.be/TlLT0Ffe1N4

She did an amazing job! Sound can always be challenging in a venue that size. I know you are proud!

I was impressed with with band director at South during our ceremony. The ensemble singing was out of sync with the band. It was very distracting, and sounded really badly. He stopped the band, and allowed the ensemble to finish a cappella. I'm sure the band parents who had waited in the heat (and possible members of the band who had waited to play) were not pleased, but I thought it was the right decision.

Congrats to all my fellow parents who had graduating seniors. It was WONDERFUL! (And I'm glad it's over!!!)

thanks IF! That does sound like your band director made the right choice. It is very hard to sing in a venue like that...I wouldn't ever try it. lol
