Well I survived

Well I survived graduation! My baby girl did so good! She was asked to sing on Wednesday last week at graduation and she made her mama proud! She sang so good! I only cried when she walked out in her cap and gown and when she sang! Was very proud for sure! We left Saturday morning for a quick beach trip and came home yesterday. Took us 7.5 hours to get home in what would normally take 5 to 5.5 I was so glad to be out of that car! We had a great time though visiting family!

I am proud..here ya go Newsjunky...you can hear her =) The echo was bad so I really don't know how she made it through the song without messing up. She said she had a really hard time hearing the music. But I was still proud =)

No she was down on the stage on the football field. There was a guy there with sound equipment

Last football season we (THE Paulding Co. Jr. Patriots) had a singer/s come and sing the National Anthem to start off our day. They had to be in the press box. It was one of those things that made us different from everyone else. We had a singer from SPMS, a mixed group from DMS, and an all girls group from HJMS. The only school that did not participate was Scoggins. I would love to have this happen again, but it would be a lot easier if we had a wireless system.

I know. They were awesome. So you see where I'm coming from? Oh, I have some pictures of the group. I forgot to download them, and when I was checking my memory cards I discovered that was one of the cards that I didn't get downloaded. I'll try to get them to you sometime this week.

You done good, RNG! Both of your kids have a great Mama they can look up to and you did such a great job with them. Graduation was so hard for me. I survived and 6 years later- I got my GRAND!! Life is great and those milestones make it all worth while. I love ya, Girl!!! :love :love

One of the worst singing experiences of my LIFE was at a wedding where the sound was goofed up by the idiot sound guy and I couldn't hear the music. The sound check was perfect. But at the ceremony, the monitor for me was switched out to the congregation, and I was left dead in the water. It was awful. I made it through it and it sounded tolerable, but not something I would want to repeat. She did a nice job, esp. for being that young.

Thank you all so much. She listened to the video last night and she was horrified..lol She said mom take that down right now...that is horrible. I am way to sharp throughout the entire song. The sound was awful, it made me sound disgusting. I told her she could have sang the phone book and I would have still been proud :love
