The midtown shooting was close enough to our offices that our building went on lockdown this morning. I felt a little strange pulling into the parking garage with the big Atlanta Police Dept. Crime Unit bus parked close by and officers walking around.

I know! But it's really comforting to see how quickly APD and building security react when an emergency happens.

Nope. It was a 47-year old woman who was killed by a male co-worker in an apparent domestic dispute.
