Update on my invention gizmo

The pool is staying right on 88 degrees. It got a degree or two higher the weekend when it was 106, but otherwise the system is cycling to maintain temp per the thermostat setting.

The A/C is cooling even better than before; easily capable of keeping the house 70 or below.

I have more modifications to do this fall, but even now it's working great.

Braggart. I'd kick you in the shin, but you need to perfect this for when you put me in a new system and attach your invention. ;)

Ima workin' on it.....

How about a hot water heater version for those of us without a pool. I know you would probably still need a conventional condenser coil too since the tank is so small, but still, it's free hot, or at least warmish water. A small water to Puron heat exchanger and we be in bidness.

I don't understand any of this. ^^. LOL

Well, I don't really either. But GD needs to protect his manhood so he's going all Tim Allen on us.

Join the club...we gave up last thread. :))
Basically, to make things cold you remove the heat.

The heat has to go somewhere. With regular A/C, that big thing outside blows the heat outside. GD is using that heat to warm the pool.

They've had those on the market for years.

Oh no. MrB is Tim Allen - as in Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor. I don't mow grass, but I'm the one that does home improvement, and repairs thing such as leaky faucets. LOL

Once you get this all tweaked, you may be able to patent the process. If so, I see a muscle car in your future.

Yea, well most people don't need their pool heated when it's 106 outside............well unless you live way up North like in Chicago. :laugh

True, but mine is shady. I'm anxious to see how it does in spring and fall.

Do you have a way to store that heat all summer and then release it in the winter. A lot of North Dakotans would buy that. (Not me...I'm too cheap to get air conditioning)

He manages to store up the gas from a pot of pinto beans pretty well, so you would think he could figure out how to do this....
