Trump's demiseut

I have faced the fact Trump no longer stands a chance of staying in office. This has led me to analyze why he lost. It wasn't just the cheating on the part of Democrats. He has to take responsibility as well. He focused his campaign way too much on him instead of the future of this country. I watched him speak at several of his rallies and during an hour's speech, the first 45 minutes was always about how he was always being attacked by the MSM and Democrats, which is true and those in attendance and watching already knew all that. The next 10 minutes would be what he wanted to do, but with no details. He played into the MSMs plan on keeping Trump focused on only himself at these rallies. They played is huge ego.

A most recent example is him taking the credit for Phizer's vaccine. He says if it weren't for him, it would have taken 4 years to develop a vaccine. It's a statement nobody can prove to be correct or wrong, but the odds are the pharmaceutical companies would have worked urgently to develop one as there would be big money in it for them.

Trump had some pretty good speech writers working for him, but unfortunately for him he could not stay on script. His ego would not allow him to. His first debate with Biden was a disaster for him. He didn't come across as a leader in that debate, but someone who wanted to complain about how he was always getting the shaft. Had he acted in that debate as he did in the second debate, things would have been a lot better for him.

Sure he got more minorities to vote for him this time, but I can't help but think those numbers would have been larger had he stayed on script and focused a message to them.

He should have stayed off Twitter and stopped all the name calling. His messaging here portrayed him as a middle-school kid who liked to bully others. Trump could run again in 2024, but he shouldn't because he would be a lame duck president not being eligible to run for another consecutive term; especially if the GOP doesn't hold the majority in both chambers of Congress. It pains me to say this, but stick a fork in Trump; he's done.

Still say all this is for show. He really didn't want to do this anymore, but his ego wouldn't let him quit.
Nah, he worked his butt off those last two weeks of the campaign. His campaign stops were tireless.

I'm not giving up. Trump's lawyers claim they will prove the fraud in two weeks, so I'm gonna give them those two weeks.

I have tried not to watch much. I figure when January 20 gets here, I will know who our president for 4 more years is.

In the meantime:

I'm holding the line. The Republic may indeed fall but not on my watch.
