That's the spin the news and the Democrats are putting on it, and they are also claiming Pence had to step in and do it.

Well, I did a little research.

Trump approved the National Guard to be deployed in DC ahead of the protest.

Here comes the law stuff...normally, once deployed, the Guard is under the control of the governor of the state. But since D.C. has no governor, control was delegated to the Secretary of the Army. That is who send the Guard in to secure the capital. Not Pence.

It's no wonder our people are so dumbed down, given the crap they are fed.

I watched a press conference held by the mayor of DC today. She is demanding DC become a state within the first 100 days of the Biden administration and that control of the DC National Guard be turned over to the mayor.
