I've just surprised with some of what we've talked about with food that you eat tofu/soy. Hearing now that it is a sometimes and not a primary makes sense with what you've said in the past though.

it is the only kinda burger that I will eat that isn't beef
I can't eat beef anymore unfortunately. Where you getting this buffalo burger? And I wonder if it would have the same effects on me since it is still red meat.

;D LOL. I am literal! You know that. )
People should be very aware of what they are eating. About 90% of soy here in the US is now modified. You really do have to look.

And you know what, I but that has something to do with the other issues. It would be interesting to see if they did the same studies with GMO and non-GMO soy ... would the results be any different?
I think the literal thing with you is where so many conversations here go wrong. People misunderstand where you're coming from with stuff and you take things differently. I know I've had to stop on more than one occasion and remind myself that it's you. lol
ShoeDiva said:I would bet the results would be! I know they did one with GMO corn vs non GMO corn and that it was vastly different. I never thought of that before.

Did you see the picture that was going around on facebook with the squirrel feeder results with GMO and non-GMO corn?
ShoeDiva said:unionmom said:Hey panda ... you want GMO labels on stuff? If you're eating tofu it probably should have a GMO label on it.
Not all! There are many organic Tofu's.
ShoeDiva said:I think some of information out there is true, especially if you have thyroid issues, but I also believe some is not. You have to remember I did not eat any meat until I was 20/21 and so I had to get protein somewhere. I do not overdo it, but I do not overdo anything. I think anything in moderation is fine and I do believe that especially with soy (now) that you need to pay for the non-GMO.

Agreed. It's not "heavy" like beef. And had such a good flavor to it.mei lan said:Sadie612 said:Kroger , publix and most grocery stores have Bison ground beef.. Also Ted's is the only restaurant I know that serves it
