Two fathers and two sons sat down to eat eggs for breakfast. They ate exactly three eggs, each person had an egg. The riddle is for you to explain how.

Haven't looked at any other posts.
There are three frogs left on the log.
Two made a decision to jump in the water, but you did not say they took any action and jumped.
A decision does not equal action, example; I decided to fix some things around the house last weekend, but never took any action, so nothing got fixed.
