This rain is

I'll be glad when it's over. I'm sanding down a wrap around deck and a good section of it isn't covered, so it's wet. I can't rent a floor sander to use until the wet wood dries out. It won't take long to stain this thing once it's all sanded. Once this project is done, I need to rip out the carpet at my house so I can put down the wood laminate.

What rain? When you sit in an interior office in a high rise building, you don't see rain, sunshine, daylight or darkness (except when someone turns the lights on or off). :dunno

Why do you not have a window? Haven't you been there forever? Who do we need to call? ;)
When I worked at the Atlanta Financial Center I hated when I had an interior office. Freaked me out just a bit. Luckily it was not long before I had a window!

No window here unless I go look out of my partner's fancy office. My view is of Winston Churchill (aka "Winnie"). He hangs out across from my desk so every time I look up, I'm greeted by his face....

Interesting piece. Who did it? (Though it could be a bit scary, at night, by myself to have him watching me! :)) )

Winnie isn't the least bit scary. I'm more bothered here at night because our lights are on motion sensors.

Steve Penley is the artist. It's one of his original oils on canvas. Our firm has several of his pieces around our office, including Marilyn Monroe.

I thought so!! We have his art book and one of his pieces. My husband loves his work.
