There are still nice people in the world

This morning I was in the Chick-Fil-A drive thru in Hiram. I almost didn't go but I was starving so I went ahead and went. I was sitting in the drive thru that was wrapped around the building. I get up to the window and the lady said here is your food, the lady in front of you paid for your food and said to have a wonderful day. Well that just entirely made my day. ;D

I have heard of people doing this all the time and I have even paid for someone at Zaxby's once so it felt nice being on the receiving end this time :love

What a great way to start the day!! I'm still waiting on the coffee to kick in here!

The radio station that I listen to....the FISH....is promoting that....I love hearing the stories that people are reporting in....I think its awesome......When I help or share with someone....I just LOVE the feeling that I have inside.....its a wonderful feeling......I get all giggly inside.....I cant even describe it.....LOL

Several of the area churches are promoting the "random act of kindness" think. Sounds like that's what it was.

So where's Sadie??? The FISH is great!!

She's out pimping a monkey.
Sounds sooooo bad, yet soooooo true! :))

The sad thing is that I really have no idea what she is doing with that poor monkey. I just hope therapy isn't necessary after she is done with it! :laugh

A lady did that for me one day at Christmas at McD's. So I paid for the lady's behind me. And then I watched in my rearview mirror as she paid for the person behind her. I wondered how far along it went. :)

I tried that at the Gift SPOT last weekend and it just resulted in a restraining order.

I remember back in December of 1968, we were leaving Okinawa to come back to the States a week before Christmas. Our flight was delayed about 10 hours because of mechanical issues. Needless to say, when we finally arrived in San Francisco, we had missed our connecting flight to Detroit by many hours. We were going to Detroit to spend Christmas with family. There were six in my family traveling. We were stuck at the airport in SF trying to get a flight out. After about six hours and my father's 100th time at the ticket counter, he was told they had five available seats on a flight that was leaving in a couple of hours. Back then, military personnel had to fly in uniform. My father said he'd take the seats for the family and if they could still work on getting a flight later for him. There was this man standing by my father who was traveling alone and spoke up he was on the flight with the 5 available seats and he told the ticket agent to give his seat to my father so he could travel with the rest of us. Needless to say, my father was very thankful for this man's kindness.
