I watched a little of the hearing where they were grilling the FBI director. He kept calling the intelligence they had that some extremists groups were going to do this. When asked what action the FBI took to inform the Capitol Police and the DC police with this information. He said the FBI sent an email to both departments and entered the data into the Joint Terrorist Task Force Portal. The next question was, "With important information like this, why didn't you pick up the phone and call the department chiefs to inform them? He danced around that by saying he didn't see the data until the January 7th. That doesn't go over well with me because you would think that if you worked in the FBI's criminal intelligence center, you would pass this information to the top of the chain.

It sounds like the FBI has their heads up their arses.

I was in the 46th MP Co. back in 1991-1994. My father was in that same unit in 1951, before he enlisted Regular Army in 1952.
