The cooler weather...

...finally caught up with my pool heater gizmo. It dropped to 85 degrees.

I still had me a good swim tonight, though. :love
 
It's has gotten much cooler here as well. Pool temp around 82. But while at the topic of cooler weather, you should start a topic since being the HVAC Hwy Guru.....remind folks to go ahead and test their home heating systems for winter time. Make sure the dust is burnt off, filters change, pilot lights lit, etc. It never fails until the first cold snap when people find out the heat don't work when needed.
 
Just changed my filters this evening. Since we are moving, I'm not gonna do anything else. The only reasons I did that was a)our current landlord doesn't maintain anything...even though they are supposed to & b)when I changed the filters after we moved in, the date on them was over 2 yrs prior. I want the new renters, whoever they may be, to at least have fresh filters.

Yeah, for some reason I still have firewood in the house next to the fire place.

Usually I clear that out once spring comes... but everyone was talking about black berry summer, so I thought we might have one more cold snap. Then when we did, we were not home to make a fire! It was just too busy.

I'm an all weather person as I can adapt to every season, I love the season changes
