Sylvester Stallone is 'permanently' leaving California behind for Florida: 'It's a done deal'

That's a smart move. As more people move out of California than are moving, I can see property values dropping there soon. I hope Stallone already has a buyer for his California home.

I get it, hopefully more and more people are waking up. I just hope it’s not a normal transition of “stars” exiting the state to make room for new up comers.

Those new up-and-coming young people may be able to buy a mansion in a year or two for a lot less, but they will still have to pay ridiculous taxes. They'll whine about it, too. "I just got this bill in the mail from the county saying I have to pay a property tax. What the heck? If I pay that, I won't be able to buy the Lamborghini I want. That's not fair. I work hard for the money I make on my podcasts."

Two years ago, a very close friend of mine called me from Southern California and said "I just can't do it anymore, I'm spending more and more and getting less and less and I'm spending half of my life on the freeway."

He moved to the northeast suburbs of ATL, just outside of the 285 perimeter and drives just five minutes to work every morning.
