Yesterday afternoon, Mrs. Foxmeister and I went to Gainseville to do a little shopping. On the way home last night, a raccoon darted across the road and I hit it. I need to replace this rubber strip under the front bumper.
 
We turned around to go see what I hit. First time I saw a dead animal laying in the road looking straight up at the sky. The expression on his face was like, "Damn!" Well Mr. Raccoon, if you're going to be stupid, you gotta be tough.
 
Which reminds me... PSA: it's getting close to the Whitetail Deer Rutting season... watch out for running deer the next 8 weeks or so. Hit a buck at speed and you 'll need to replace more than just a bumper strip!!

(Speaking as the guy who hit one with his brand new truck (421 miles on it) last year.)
