Rolling down the highway
For some reason the peppers do extremely well in the fall. All the tomatoes except two cherry tomatoes have been gone a while. So why didn't I start that cilantro so I could have some fresh salsa?? :rant

Basil is going crazy and I do Italian meals much less than Mexican and Chinese!
I know in the past my cilantro has been more bitter than what I get in the store – but next year I think I will do a container pot of it on the deck like I did the Basil. In the past my Basil got white flies (right now the tomatoes in the garden are getting them.) However, the Basil on the deck has not had a white fly or pest problem the whole season! :CLAP

White flies have been a huge problem for us the past couple of years. It hasn't got cold enough to kill them!! I swear every plant I bring in this year is getting a hair cut first. They'll leaf back out.
