Staining the Deck

I've been working on Jennifer's deck now for a solid two weeks. It wraps around three sides of the house and had three layers of oil base paint and one layer of primer. I completely sanded it down to the bare wood to prep it for a stain. Last night before the sun set, I put down a coat of stain on the front. I'll have to put a second coat on it later this morning. It is looking a lot better than it did.

What kind of stain - transparent, opaque, solid? What brand? What color?

We used Homey Depot's high-dollar solid stain on our fence...25-year warranty on vertical surfaces. Can't spray it on, though...too thick for any sprayer.

Ah...yes, I saw that. Behr stain is what I meant by ours. I'm sure that'll look nice. Is she selling?

She's going to put her's up for sale. She lives between Cleveland and Helen off SR-75. It's a beautiful area.
