South Korean President Credits Trump For Bringing North Korea To The Table

That's nice, hope it works out, but remember we have a photo of Kim's father and Madeline Albright toasting a nuke free Korean Peninsula and an end to armed hostilities. Lets just say this fits a decades long pattern of promising to play nice in exchange for cash and prizes and then backing out of the deal, usually after receiving at least part of what he wanted. I wouldn't be dismantling the Patriot defense systems yet.

I truly hope all parties are showing their true intentions and I really hate to be a doubter but the wiser side of me just can't get excited over more promises. I hope I'm wrong.

Hopefully NK is being honest this time. We'll see. I can't find it now but I read an article that said China pretty much told NK to stop the crap after the nuke test site collapsed recently.

I don't trust His Shortness either. But still, this has to be a movement in the right direction for us and South Korea.

I realize this is kinda sarcastic...
However it will be fun to watch the committee for the Noble Peace prize...
Squirm to figure out a political reason to not give the prize to Donald Trump...
[grin]

Back on topic...
I hope this does work out... even if the world has to dumb $billions into it...
De-nuclear-ing Korea is a good thing IMO...
Next, we can clean up that mess of a give-away called the Iran nuke treaty...

Each time a rogue nation gets their nuke power throttled... IMO it is a good thing for the world in general.

The energy has shifted, they have lifted the weight and given him the chance to be a great leader.

This is a new day.

Iran is next...

Welcome to the Golden Age... the great awakening has begun.

;)

Maybe Dennis Rodman should be given the Nobel Peace Prize? :grin2:

I love the quote: ‘Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un are pretty much the same,’ claims Dennis Rodman during visit to Beijing

Dennis Rodman says Kim Jong-un ‘didn’t realise who Donald Trump was’ until he gave the North Korean leader a copy of ‘Art of the Deal’

Former NBA star Dennis Rodman said North Korean leader Kim Jong-un didn’t really “understand” President Donald Trump until he gave him a copy of the president’s book, “The Art of the Deal,” for his birthday in 2017.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Rodman said, “I think [Kim] didn’t realise who Donald Trump was at that time, I guess, until he started to read the book and started to get to understand him.”

‘Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un are pretty much the same,’ claims Dennis Rodman during visit to Beijing

Rodman, who considers Kim a friend and has made a number of visits to North Korea, said he believes the North Korean leader has had “a change of heart” when it comes to both Trump and the American people. The former NBA player didn’t take full credit for this, but still feels his efforts at basketball diplomacy with North Korea played a significant role in the recent warming of relations.

If it happens I'll applaud any and everyone whom may have been even remotely involved. I really don't think people grasp the full importance of the story.

AND HERE WE GO....

North Korea threatens to CANCEL nuclear summit with Trump because it believes 'provocative military ruckus' of joint U.S.-South Korea drills are rehearsal for invasion

We've been doing these for decades and each and every time, NK has whined about it.

He's a baby

It would appear... China wants something...
Because China's mouthpiece is making noises...
:D

What is kinda amusing to me...

The way the media tries to create all the tension over every tidbit of news that comes out.
As if it actually is the rise and fall of the world at that moment.

IMO when the news is released, and what tidbits are released (timing)...
Has little to do with what is REALLY going on behind the closed doors of govts.
