It was horrifying ... I open a recent magazine and there was page after page after page of gelatinous eewwww. Savory, sweet, and everything in the middle. :sick :sick :sick

Dear Lord - you people are circus freaks!!! You are seriously damaged if you don't like lime congealed salad!!! Cream cheese, pineapple, pecans, oh my! OTOH, more for me and stradial. ;)

Don't forget the gelatin salad's spinoff - Watergate salad.... The hubby loves it. Sadly, he had to say goodbye to that goo when we discovered that I am allergic to pistachios. The inlaws still hold a grudge about that. After 22 years, I still hear about how they can't have their beloved salad at holiday dinners... :laugh
 
Here's one. What's that "salad" that has apples in it? And what about carrot raisin salad?

Actually, they probably could, but my pistachio allergy nearly killed me once so the hubby freaks out if I get anywhere near them.
