Ok, so what trial will the media be overzealous about next?
The scum who killed the baby in Brunswick.

Sent from a small screen using fat thumbs.

Good possibility but with the South Africa trial it may not get as much attention as it could otherwise. Our locals will be all over it, surely.

I hope none for awhile. I'm tired of Nancy Grace's mug.

I don't watch Nancy Grace at all. I watched the Sneiderman trial on local feeds.

Have they sentenced her yet?

Not yet, the judge has recessed so he can make his determination and hand down the sentence. They are keeping the live feed up and everyone is waiting in the courtroom.

Change that - the judge just came back.

The boss interrupted, but I believe she was just sentenced to serve 5 years.

I heard something about she had time served so it would not be a whole 5 years. Neighbors are mowing and I could not hear the whole thing.

She received 5 years on each count that she will serve concurrently and will get credit for time served (which was almost a year).

Did you not shush him and tell him it would have to wait?!

What was he thinking?!?! ;D

He was on his way out the door to go to the airport (even though he just got back from a trip last night), so I was sympathetic and let him get away with it.

So since most only serve 1/3 incarcerated she only has to serve a little over a year and 1/2 in jail. She's already being credited with almost a year so the most she will serve is a little over 6 more months.

So 4 years in prison and most likely an early release for "good behavior" ?

Ah, that answers my question!
