Site Performance Issues - UPDATE

I reported our issues to the new hosting provider. They found another user on the same server we are on that had a site that was serving up tons of stuff that was eating up the server resources causing not only our site to have issues but others on the same server. They have deactivated the offending customer and so far it seems to have helped.

Just to educate you, we are using a shared hosting provider for our site. This means that we share a server with other individuals and sites. This is the most cost effective way to run a site our size. There are always chances that one particular site can cause issues for everyone like we just saw. This could always happen again, but these kinds of issues are usually rare and caught early by the support staff at the hosting provider.

I hope this info helps everyone in understanding why we were experiencing the slow downs and short outages recently. Thanks and enjoy cruising the Hwy!!
