I have lived in several different places and sign stealing has happened in each of them during political campaigns. Once there was a group of high school kids who wanted to pull a prank on a friend. They drove around and picked up every political yard sign they could find regardless of the candidate they belonged to. They collected a couple of hundred and in the middle of the night dumped them in the friend's yard. The owners of the home called each political candidate and let them know their signs were there. They were all collected that day.

Funny thing, on Friday I saw the Paulding County Marshall truck on 92 and on Ridge road removing some signs. Some, not all.

Example: Four signs in a yard. Each sign for a different candidate (or 2 signs apiece for 2 candidates). The Marshall's truck stops and takes one or two signs and leaves the other 2 or 3 signs.

Or was it more like this?
Example: Four signs in a yard. Each sign for a different candidate (or 2 signs apiece for 2 candidates). The Marshall's truck stops and takes all the signs.

ETA, I guess what I am asking is, did it seem that they were singling out certain candidates signs or just signs that may have been put where they do not belong?

I saw different signs and only some taken. They were not all perfectly lined up so I think, but I am not sure, they picked up the ones that were on county property and left the ones that were on private. It was random, again I think, because I saw a Barnett one picked up and then a Collette one a block down. (I could not tell whose was left I could just see what was in her hand, which btw she was wearing white gloves...just thought that was odd.)

I actually meant to post Friday but forget because it was just funny (not ha ha funny) that we were just talking about missing signs.

I've noticed quite often when it comes to local politics, you come here and say there's a lot you know that we don't, but you can't say anything about it in public. I learned a long time ago people usually do this often have an agenda and really don't know anymore than the rest of us. In this case I think it's you want to believe your candidate has been singled out and his signs are being stolen by his opponent. The fact is your candidate and his opponent's signs are being removed.

First off, you do not know me and you have zero knowledge of what I know. Furthermore, it isn't about "my" candidate(s), it is about ethics and playing fair on all levels. There is a reason why I do not post certain things on public boards. I guess you have not figured that out yet.
