Shoe Help!

We are going to a wedding next month. The night before is a cocktail party, and the wedding the next day, late afternoon. Attire was noted as "summer cocktail attire". Hmmm... IDK what that means, but I got two cute dresses and I don't know wht kind of shoes. Here's the dresses. First dress is navy blue with little birds. The sleeves are slit shoulder to wrist. It is soooooo cute. That is what I am wearing to the cocktail party Friday. It's the one on the left:

oh crap... i have a wedding saturday night and i got nuttin... tomorrow i guess i know what im doin

This is the one I'm wearing to the wedding... it's the blue and green stripped one, second from the right. The stripe in the middle is a nude color. Maybe some nude, strappy platform heels?

What shoes should I get for these??? I am not sure if a wedge or platform, or if the bird dress should have those flat sandles with the strap from toe to ankle?

What say ye, oh women of the highway??? :cheer1

I'm not a fan of platform heels, I think a sandal with a heel would look cute with it, but not a gladiator type sandal.

Im not one to give shoe advice...I wear flip flops with everything..hahaha Where is the Diva of shoe's when you need her!

Yes, that is what I m thinking. I hate those gladiator sandles. I do like the new style of platforms that are in right now. And I love to try and give myself some height when possible since I'm a shorty. LOL And my hubs is 6'4".

It's cute, but it didn't look good on me. I got both of these dresses at a store on Marietta Square called Lmichelle. Such a cute store! I tried on so many things, but I fell in love with these two. Neither are dresses I'd normally pick out for myself.

That bird dress is so cute. I wish MrB would take me somewhere to wear it before the wedding!!

Open toed, dainty with a mid-length heel.
Thanks, GD. LOL I totally expected something off the wall from you! Hahahaha!

;D

You're tiny so you don't want anything gaudy or too tall of a heel. Just something pretty and slightly understated.

Lawd, I feel so gay now!! :cheer1

:laugh you crack me up! Lol

GD is definitely gay. :faint

The birds, match a shoe with the nude color. A slip on with a kitten heel with an open toe would look nice. No toe divider. Maybe even a blue gem or design on the front to give it more of a cocktail feel.

The other one..I would really have to see it on to give the best advice because it is not something I would wear.
Edit: I looked again and I would lean towards a slingback pump with a platform. The middle looks more gray to me than nude. If it is you could go with silver and silver accessories.
