Ahhh let me count the way of hypocrisy:

In a tweet Thursday, President Donald Trump described someone who would shoot up a school as a "savage sicko."
ANSWER: The freaking guy just murdered 18 kids and you are worried about "stigmatizing some mental deranged people.


NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch described the gunman as "an insane monster" who is "nuts" and crazy." And at a White House briefing Thursday, the President again used the term "sicko."
ANSWER: Maybe Trump should have referred to him as a POS.
But then, CNN would probably come back to defend shit.


But having a mental health diagnosis does not mean he would become violent, many experts say.

Corrigan also points out that it's wrong for a politician to use someone like Cruz -- or Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza or any other school shooters -- to imply that someone with a mental illness diagnosis is more likely to be dangerous or violent.
ANSWER: Not everyone who has mental health problems goes on shooting rampages so don't generalize. Not everyone who owns a gun or supports the right to own a gun goes on a shooting rampage but DO generalize.


But having a mental health diagnosis does not mean he would become violent, many experts say. And although Trump has said he wants to focus on mental health to stop school shootings, calling Cruz a "sicko" doesn't help, those experts claim.

So hold on. It's unfair to call mentally ill folks who haven't shot up a school "sickos" but it's totally righteous to call NRA members who haven't shot up a school "murderers."

ANSWER: "CNN has a whole story devoted to shaming Trump for calling the Parkland shooter a “sicko” on the grounds that it’s stigmatizing to people with mental health problems who aren’t all mass shooters of children."

Let me rephrase that in a way you will never see on CNN:

"CNN has a whole story devoted to shaming liberals for exploiting the Parkland shooting on the grounds that it’s stigmatizing to people who legally own guns who aren’t all mass shooters of children."

Before making this comment... let me post a dis-claimer:
This is kinda blunt, potentially negative, accusatory, and borders on conspiracy stuff... grin
OK, here goes:

IMO: the progressive left... KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING... it is planned.
And IMO: when the right finally decides to treat the left as a group that is h*ll-bent on destroying Constitutional America...
The left will easily be dealt with.
OTOH: As long as we just get irritated with their BS... not much to fix the problem of the left... will get done.

Because the REAL goal is dis-arming the law abiding American citizens.
The US Constitution and the hundreds of millions of privately owned firearms and IMO literally billions of rounds in the hands of the owners in the USA (along with the gutsy individualistic attitude)...
IMO is the only thing stopping a one world govt that would end up with 1-2% ruling and 98-99% in poverty. And IMO history supports my rather dim prediction of what would happen... and I doubt any of us would be in that 1-2%...

Us on the right... need to keep our focus and not get caught up in the minutia!

Agree with Jawja on the left wanting to disarm the public. But I'll go as far as to say why. The exact reason some of our forefathers cited when passing the 2nd Amendment...because civilian with guns could potentially rise up against a government that has become repressive.

Make no mistake...the real power behind the Democratic Party, and to be fair some of the Republicans as well, does intend for our government to become repressive. Their real agenda is to chip away at our constitution and stack the Supreme Court so they can eventually turn the United States into a Socialist police state.

Many on the left deny this, and ask what citizens with hunting rifles could do against an army with advanced weaponry. The answer is plenty! Could regular citizens win an all out war against the military? Probably not, but it wouldn't come to that. Our armed forces would not relish the idea of engaging their civilian brothers, especially when they would be greeted by bullets. And there would likely be mass mutiny if orders came down to use advances weaponry.

So yes, our guns are doing their intended job and standing in the way of the plans of the portion of our government that has sold us out. And again...I suspect that includes most of the Democratic Party and some Republicans. If you recall...we found out via the Wikileaks that Lindsay Graham and possibly others were working with Hillary and the DNC.

This is only my opinion...
Wars I have studied... were won as much by the resistance guys (and gals) and special ops guys... as the troops!
The French resistance (aided by British and American spies) did as much damage to the Nazi military as any other single force.
IMO insurgent tactics by the enemy were a large reason for our issues in VietNam, Iraq, Afganistan, and others.

So... IMO... If there were a 'hot' war on US soil... citizens with guns... would make it literally h*ll for any enemy troops to gain and more importantly hold ground.
And since there is little organization from back woodsman... there is no command structure to take out.

Japan did not attack California in 1941... because they knew Americans had guns, and would use them.

I don't think enough Americans understand why the second amendment was put in the constitution giving citizens a right to be able to stand up against a rogue dictator or group of individuals who would deny is our constitutional rights. As stated : "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

No, you don't need an assault rifle to hunt. You might, however, need one to stand up to those who might think about trying to be the next American Kim Jong-un, or Nicolás Maduro ... they (despots) need to fear those out there in America with an assault rifle. I don't own a gun... but I know many who do, and I will count on their ability so I don't live like the people of Venezuela, North Korea, Cuba, Libya (pick your, third world shit hole....... ) due to a socialist dictator.

We can protect our schools by institutionalizing unstable, mentally ill students instead of pretending mainstreaming them will somehow make them all better... All the while shaming people into pretending their gut fear of being hurt or worse by these angry out of control youths is discrimination. The mentally ill should never be allowed to have a gun of any kind.

Shame on our country and leaders making our educational institutions a place of fear by allowing mentally ill students to routinely be in the classrooms with no assistance from the mental health community.

I would venture to say that no one who supports limits on pistol magazines ever had a 500 lb PO'ed mama hog coming at you when you stumbled on her and her piglets walking to your deer stand just after dusk. You CANNOT have too much ammo in the weapon in that situation.

(In truth, Hog hunting is one of the hunts where large magazines are needed in rifles as well. Once you get a group in range, you want to get as many of those suckers as possible, you won't have time to be using the bolt between shots.)
