Daddy has taken a turn for the worse and his body is beginning to shut down. Friends and family, if you wish to see him you are welcome to come by the hospice and see him. Message me if you need directions or want more information. Thank you all for your prayers. Keep them coming.
Jacob said to me tonight, "I just wish I had more time with him..." So do I! I said that to say this, don't let trivial things come between you and those you love. Don't waste time being angry or bitter especially over things you cannot change. We told Jacob tonight that you cannot control what others do but you do have to love and forgive them. I am so thankful for my family and for the godly husband and father that my boys and I have to help us through this. Not everyone is as lucky to have what we have and I know that firsthand which makes me cherish it even more.
As for my Daddy, Lord knows we've had our bumps in the road but I know that he loves me in his own way and I'm okay with that. My Daddy is not a perfect man, far from it, but he is the man that God chose as my earthly father and I am thankful for what time we had together both good and bad. I love him so much and my heart is broken. What I would give to hear him call me and say "Sis, I love you..."
