I think I'd have to pay a Nicaraugan to swim it across the river into Costa Rica for me. Bet the caymans and crocodiles would love that guy.
It's the one thing I just cannot get here. I'm going to have to learn to live with this profound sadness.

MacDaddy, the best place I found for different cuts (bison short ribs, roast, steak, etc) was Wholefoods. It's around the same price as the frozen blocks of ground bison in the grocery store but much more fresh. Best bison I ever had was a steak raised and butchered by the 4H Club in Emigrant, Montana. The bison was out of this world there!
 
Mac... They sell bison at Kroger and publix. Do you need me to bring you some up next time I come

Just .... etc. ;). Whole foods is a bit far of a drive, even for someone who lives just North of Nashville. Will keep it in mind next time I'm up for a road trip.

Sadie, yep Kroger and Publix are my current sources. About $9-10 a pound there for ground bison.
