We'll probably all be sitting around still discussing where Muslims came from.

:spitchick Hey, and we can ask and have the true answer!

I'm sure some would still question the truth.

No, I wouldn't question the truth, but I might ask him more questions about it so I can understand it more. My God knows that I like to learn stuff and that I'm going to ask a lot of questions. He loves that about me!!! :taunt

Seriously, my job will be simply praising God and resting by the river.

I want to swim with dolphins and chase butterflies,
I hope they have some openings in that department.

So, I don't post many religious questions.........but at least when I do they're good ones. :taunt

As for our jobs. Or no jobs. I'm thinking that we'll be doing a whole lot of praising, and in our free time we can go, and visit with folks. There are a lot of folks I want to talk with, and learn stuff from.
As far as the angel question, there are angels. But, when a mortal gets to haven we don't become angels.

I'm with you, sister. The Bible says that the lion will lie down with the lamb...I'm volunteerin' to be a lion and lamb keeper! Oh, and pandas! Panda keeper, too! Oh, and tigers! I love tigers! I'll rotate around...lions and lambs one week, pandas the next, tigers the next, etc. :cheer1

Your position in heaven will be based on your actions in life.

At least that's what the bible says.

Again, uhhhh ohhhh.

The essence of our discussion on Sunday was that we each have our own spiritual gifts and that God gave each of us our specific gifts because we would ultimately put them to use in Heaven. Now, before BS flips a nugget, this was just a discussion based on our Sunday School teacher's interpretation of Revelations and his personal beliefs based on his research. We, of course, will not find out if this is true or not until we are there.

Well I did one of those spiritual gift survey things, kinda freaked me out.
Any way I'm just looking forward to seeing how Mom decorated the place when she got there. I'm also looking forward to seeing all my furbabies.

A spiritual gifts test is a survey that helps you see what your spiritual gifts are (praise, exhortation, giving, etc.). Here's a link...

It was a Sunday school lesson thing. I still have it around here some where. This is one. It's pretty good.
