A friend of mine posted the story below and said another friend whose son is an aviator in the Army told him the same thing. If this is true, it would be a big news story, yet it's nowhere but on RedState.

Sometimes the fringe sites post stuff that the MSM won't touch, yet down the road aways it turns out to be true. Certainly not always, but sometimes. So I wouldn't write it off as false, but leave it in the unconfirmed column for now.

I'm not sure it's true because the guy who has the pilot son is now saying all pilots can fly until May 15 and then will be grounded for the rest of the FY. The development of a new recon helicopter to replace the Kiowa was cut off in February because the costs kept going up, and there was nothing to show for it.

I've seen RedState used as a reference here a few times. Each time I've seen someone use it as a source, no real news outlets were reporting, nor did they later. I think this is one of those sites that will print something like this to get the clicks for the advertising dollar.
