Question for anyone with boys involved in sports

Does anyone know of where I can take the boy to get a sports physical after school hours that doesn't charge the urgent care fees? I am trying not to take him out of school. I know some of these urgent care places do it, but I would rather not pay the 50 bucks to have it done when I can pay 30 at the reg. docs office. Just thought I would ask before I made him an appt. with his doc.

I think Walgreen's on 120 at Lost Mountain does them for around $35.

I will call and check..thank you!

Make sure you print out the forms. Yes, I know that the Dr.s and other places are supposed to have them, but I always just do it just to make sure they are the right ones.

Walgreens and CVS won't do football physicals. AND last year I paid $75 at the Urgent Care place in Hiram, not $50. That was not using insurance because it had only been a month or so since his annual checkup at his doc's office. It may have even gone up. This year we participated in the "clinic" at school and it was only $35. Keep that in mind for next April. The Hiram Touchdown Club sponsors it, but all sports are welcome and the physicals are good for one year.
