I don't care for carving them myself. Do you like to carve or draw on them?

We used to carve, but the little spits in the neighborhood we used to live in would just smash them, so we quit. Now we live back in the woods. Besides, those darn things are expensive.

We carve. Well, not "we," the hubby and the princess carve. They started doing it when the princess was a baby and have done it every year since... The princess is already bugging us to go to Bert's to pick out a big pumpkin for them to carve.

We plug them in ...they are foam ...sort of like fake Christmas trees... :Ninja

Five years or so ago, kids from the bad hood roamed around in our hood. They took the real pumpkins and bowled them down the street, and smashed them! :girlsaysno

I planted pumpkin plants this year, however they have not done well at all...too wet I guess...I even sprayed them a few times to prevent powdery mold.

I would have just put them out front with my plug in ones to give more pop... but at 8:00 PM weekends and Halloween I would take everything in...little gremlins can go terrorize some other neighborhood!
:GUN :faint

I carve with power tools

lol - you and my hubby - after the debacle with our globe cypress, I've told him that he is on power tool restriction until he learns how to use them responsibly. In his world, that means more time on the couch so he wasn't too upset at his "punishment."
