PUBLIC OPINION > Bacon Is Better Than Nutella

Rolling down the highway
Seriously?? It would be a hard choice for me.

Ever since Italian confectionery manufacturer Ferrero introduced Nutella, a hazelnut-based chocolatey spread, in the 1960s, one question has burned in the minds of all who tried it: "This is great... but is it better than bacon?" Today, we have the answer. We asked the public, once and for all, which delicious treat reigns supreme.

I'm surprised they didn't dip the bacon IN the Nutella!

I hear of some of the strangest bacon recipes sometimes. I did see some Nutella cookies on Pinterest I will try. Has anybody else made them? :dunno

Bacon is better than anything imaginable that one could consume. It is the perfect combination of the three major food groups, salt, fat, and cholesterol. They say that every delicious slice takes seven minutes off your life, but what is a life without bacon.

I have made a few nutella recipes over the years and I think they are okay, but most love them. I grew up with a form of nutella instead of peanut butter that my parents made or would have sent in from Italy. It was richer and did not have as much oil. I would try the recipe if your family likes nutella. :thumbsup

I agree. I think I'll go fry some more peppered bacon and eat it.

The main ingredients of Nutella are sugar and processed fat. I think natural, uncured bacon is probably better for you and tastes better too. I go with the general public on this one.

I have no idea why they do that now. It is totally different than what I grew up with and that is why I do not like it now. It just taste different then I remember. :(

Actually, Jif has something out that is better than Nutella (I don't know if it's healthier), but it's called "Chocolate Silk" - spreadable chocolate and peanut butter mixed together....

Yummmmmmmmm!!!

I saw that is the store. Nutella is really hazelnuts with a hint of cocoa. Is the Jif one more of a chocolate one? (and what kind of nuts? Is it peanut?)

I'm assuming it's peanut since it's Jif. It's very good to dip pretzels in.
