Pictures and Details

Thanks so much for sharing those pics! They bring back lots of memories for me. When I was twenty, I moved alone to Culpepper, VA for a job training horses. Absolutely loved it there. Walking out of my rental every morning was like heaven. The mountains in the distance were breath taking, as were the farms.

I can certainly understand why you enjoy visiting!!! Some day, I hope to go back. :)

My kids learned to drive Gators on my brother’s farm, then drive the farm trucks before they were permitted… on private land, farming, it’s okay.

I think they are both much better drivers because of that experience, and they took to driving on real streets once they had their permits very readily.

I grew up on a farm and learned to drive a manual transmission truck when I was 10. Daddy was hauling hay, and he and Mother were both working with the bales and they needed someone to drive. The transmission was sticky (some of you will know what I'm talking about) and I can drive pert near anything. ;)
