I'm glad they are abiding by their promise to let the old gentleman live there. I believe if he hadn't had the public support and drew so much attention, he'd be on the street.

...oh and I think him having blue eyes may have had something to do with them not feeling so bad about trying to push him out....

He built the apartment with his own money. He led the charge to save the Fox. He had a lifetime lease.
 
Madea's right - he had a lifetime lease, and they just by God re-wrote it to suit their stupid little selves. I have been mad over this ever since I first heard about it months (or a year?) ago. CHAPS MY ARSE!!! How dare they?!?!?!??!! I hate mean people. I don't think they were prepared for the blowback they got on it, either, which tells me they are mean AND stupid.
