IMHO, these TV preachers have figured out how to get more money from people.

Jimmy Swaggart was busted for Hookers, and still has a following. :))

Sadly, it's difficult to watch him and not have that enter my mind. I rarely watch, but I do watch him from time to time.

At first I thought the same thing too....I was highly disappointed at him...but now when I watch him....he just reminds me that Jesus shed his blood on the cross and died for him too...

I am not throwing stones, just stating facts. I choose not to pay any attention to them. Lest not forget Jim Bakker and the $20,000.00 Gold Dog House. Tammy Faye preached that she would stand by her man, at least till the money stopped.

I used to judge men/women who had affairs really harshly. Actually, I hated them...really hated them. Had my soapbox to hop on and look down upon anyone caught cheating...until 2005 or 2006.

I was struggling with a family member's unfaithfulness. I wanted him strung up by his testicles and beat like he was pinata. Then one evening, out of the blue, I remembered that Kind David committed adultery and even had the woman's husband killed. Yet, David is described by God to be "a man after His own heart". I figured if God could forgive ,and still love, an adulterer, so could I.

There's a difference between loving/forgiving an adulterer and continuing to trust his/her judgment. Not saying they can never be rehabilitated (Gorden McDonald is a good example of one who was restored)...just pointing out the difference.

Matthew 6:9-15
This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. ;For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Back to the title of the topic I've been watching Perry for years, and I really do enjoy the amount of time and research he has devoted to studying the Hebrew translations of the words that we read in the Bible today. His teachings helps me to better understand how the Old Testament prophecies parallels the New Testament prophecies, specifically which end time prophecies have already been fulfilled, and which have not before the return of Christ.
"btw I believe that most have been fulfilled"
If you would like to watch all seven services with Perry, I have the DVD set.

I didn't find out about it until late Friday nite....I was watching him on TBN like I normally do but soon as his teaching was over I leave the TV and do something else....but Friday nite I heard him say Hiram....I said HIRAM....that's here..so I ran to the computer and looked him up and sure enough he was here....So I was able to make it to the Saturday morning and evening......We gave my daughter her 23 yr birthday dinner over at my sisters Sunday so I didn't to make it to neither services Sunday...but I really did enjoy it...
