Evangelist teaches on different subjects...some are anointed to preach on Salvation, such as Billy Graham.....and there is Jimmy Swaggart on the Holy Spirit.....and Nathan Morries on healing......just to name a few...but Perry Stone teaches on prophecy....dreams and the spirit.......

I've seen Perry on TV many times and always enjoyed watching his program. He is quite knowledgeable about Jewish history and the Old Testament. I really like his teaching.

I love watching Perry Stone...he is just one big wealth of knowledge....he had two awesome services yesterday and I so enjoyed them both......I have learned so much from him......

We all know God is the one that we go to for all of our needs...He has already done ALL that needs to be done..... He is my Healer, provider, he sends the holy spirit....etc...but these people are sent to teach us how to use God word ...to encourage me ....and help build my faith.....and to pray for me. my partner in Christ....ect.....

I seriously do appreciate your answers and opinions. I am catholic. I go to my priest. I guess I am just not understanding the different preachers for different needs. I do agree we all need the people (pastors, preachers, ministers, priests) to teach us, help us in our faith, and pray for and with us. I am just stuck on the statement of the different areas of Evangelists. I do not understand the why of having different men for different needs. Is that explainable or one of those it just is things? I hope you do not mind me asking questions. If so you can just ignore them.
We believe in the 5 fold ministry....You have the teacher, pastor, apostle, prophet, evangelist....each one has their gift....I suppose its like school....lol....we have the English Teacher, Math teacher...and etc....they have their special talent and that's their density..(their calling) I am sure its much deeper than this...and what I know, its way to much to type....But we don't go to our Pastor to confess our sins..(He took care of that at the cross)...we pray and confess to the Heavenly Father...Our pastor teaches the bible as a whole.....sorta like how he created us male and female.....he gave us a roll to play ....he created female with her roll and male for his....a mother her roll and a father his roll....trees do there part, sun does it part...and so forth...everything he created has a part to do...or a gift....or to be called....I hope that make sense..

Okay, that does make more sense. (need a light bulb smiley here...) Sometimes when you are raised and schooled one way you hear things and wonder.
