Right there with you. I need to get a Sams membership for tissues!!!!

Just bringing up for anyone that might need the times for tomorrow. Have fun and I hope your students get the teacher/classes they want. :)

My Kindergartener can hardly contain her excitement. My 6th grader, not so much. :))

LOL. I can just barely remember kindergarten. I was so sad! My Senior is very excited, mom, not so much. Every year his schedule has been messed up, so we figure it will be again this year, and if not, be pleasantly surprised.

Where is your 6th grader going? ( I am assuming Union for the little one. :D )

Little one is not going to Union. ;)

6th grader is going to Scoggins.

That's what I get for assuming. LOL
I love most all the teachers at Scoggins. The office staff is amazing and so is the principal.

As somebody new coming in I do have to admit to being a bit concerned about the school's math, science, and social studies scores and the fact that it is now on the Needs Improvement list but other than the test results I can't find a bad word about the school anywhere.

And the little one will be at Ragsdale. :) We LOVE Ragsdale. Union was good too but Ragsdale is absolutely wonderful. We loves us some Ashley Anderson. (our Principal)

Those of you going to Scoggins, Dobbins, HJMS, SPMS, don't forget to get your Patriot spirit ware!!! If you know of any boys that want to play football, we are still signing them up.

6th grader is looking forward to having a locker. I'm not sure what his fascination is with a locker, but what ever. I know I am concerned about the math issue.

Scoggins, SPMS also feed SPH.
Dobbins, HJMS also feed Hiram. But, all four feed to PCHS.

yep my son is at Dobbins but we are in Paulding High's district now. But he'll be going to Hiram most likely

So Austin is the only one that does not feed to PCHS? That is interesting. What a mix they have there if 4 of the 5 middle schools feed to them!

So, tell me, how was your open house???

For the first time in 4 years, my sons schedule was right!!!! :DN LOL I would have lost that bet if I took it!

for my 8th grader it was a waste of time.....school was so packed you could barely move..lol He went in met his homeroom teacher and was ready to leave. He didn't want to walk around meeting his other 3 teachers.

for my senior..they had her schedule right and that poor kid is gonna get her exercise for sure. She has to walk from one end of the campus to the other for each class..alot of back and forth..then the end of her day is easy.

I think my 6th grader got lucky. As is the case in middle school, all of his academic classes are all right together but he does them all together on his schedule, too. He doesn't do band and gym until his last two classes of the day.

My kindergartener is bouncing off the walls with excitement.
