Paulding County band exhibition tonight!

All 5 high school bands will be performing tonight at South Paulding High School in their yearly band exhibition performance. Show time starts at 7. This is a perfect opportunity to come out and see what all the bands shows are about and show some support for them. Come on out if you can!

$2.00 entrance fee, concessions will be sold, and each band plays about 30 minutes. South will be last because they are hosting, but I do not know the line up for the rest.



RNG - We are not sure about going. It depends on if teen has test tomorrow or not. (Teacher said she might change it) He has been at school since 7:30 and has to stay until 6. I am not sure he is up to staying until 10.
 
Ok I think we are 3rd to perform, but maybe he won't have a test and can stay long enough to say hello if he doesn't feel like staying the entire time. I know that makes for a long day for him! But I know someone who would get a kick out of seeing him :whistle

also thanks for posting the admission price cause I totally forgot ;D

I heard it was! Mine came home, ate dinner, did homework, and studied. Bed by 9. He would never have made it to school today if he went. LOL
I am sorry we missed it. :(

I figured he had went home. Its all good...lil RNG was a little disappointed but I told there may be other chances to see him (told ya she was smitten) :laugh
 
I wish they would do this on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I hated missing it. Both kids had practice last night and it would have been way too late to keep the youngs ones out. :(

your right Madea, it was after 10 before we even left South Paulding. It was a great exhibition though. All the bands were great. Our kids were excited to see Dr. Davis in the crowd. I think them seeing him before they performed made them want to perform even harder. They made him very proud from what I was told.
 
I remember doing this when mine marched. It was a lot of fun, but there were only 3 bands...........I can't imagine all 5. Late night for everyone that went. Yes, I think they need to think about moving this to a weekend now that there are 5 High Schools.

I miss those days and our band family. :love

Were your ears burning last night NG? Ran into to my buddy from Paulding, the band booster pres over there..he said and just where were you at the meeting..I said, oops totally forgot about it (I really did). He said well just so you know, your doing entertainment again next year lol I said oh I am huh. He said yep I got no vote..lol
