A must read article about possible upcoming breast cancer treatment drug rationing, as far as insurance coverage goes. The FDA is planning on pulling it's endorsement on a drug that thousands of breast cancer patients depend on to extend their life expectancy, in many cases by years.This will mean that their insurance will no longer cover the drug and they will have to pay full price out-of-pocket for it. if this happens, it will be just the beginning of a long list of life saving drugs that will follow.

If you know any one who is taking the drug Avastin for the treatment of breast cancer, pass this on to them!
 
Good information to have. I am not familiar with that medication, I am however familiar with other cancer meds that seem to do more damage than good.
