NOVA rules my face

Nova ran this cool series last night called The Elegant Universe. It was a 3 part series on the string theory and quantum mechanics.

My husband wouldn't let me watch it. He wouldn't even let me go downstairs to record it on the DVR.

So, I just bought it. :taunt

I watch the Universe all the time on History Channel 2, almost watch these last night but I remembered I missed Stars Earns Stripes Monday night so I watched it on-line.

I loved that show! It was on a couple of years ago. I didn't know it was on DVD.

The sad part is that the only person I could talk to about it was a math teacher because everyone else thought I was insane. The most fascinating part to me was that these guys devote their entire lives to a concept so far out that the likelihood of success is astronomical (no pun intended), and they are completely OK with that. I also love the infighting, like a bunch of teenage girls.
